- Provide day-to-day problem resolution for the company's Microsoft D365 Business Central end user community.
- Leverage Power BI and SQL skills to build reports and provide data to business users.
- Work with our contracted Business Central partner on issue resolution and system enhancements as prioritized by the business.
- Identify, implement, and document process automation and continuous improvement solutions to simply and streamline ERP processes.
- Manage user setup, roles/security, and approval workflows in Business Central.
- Monitor and manage application performance and availability. Proactively identify, analyze, and respond to system issues and risks.
- Foster teamwork among Business Central end users and functional leads through education & training.
- Assist with designing, implementing, testing, and documenting integrations to external systems.
- Coordinate with managed service EDI provider for support of the integrated EDI solution in Business Central.
- Execute Business Central data migration imports and exports as required.
- Develop insights for cost savings and process improvements across the organization and among data management needs.
- Support Microsoft D365 Business Central patch management and upgrade planning/execution as well as new application features (new implementations and standard upgrades).
- 3+ years' experience supporting ERP systems in a technical capacity. Specific experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft Navision(NAV), D365 Finance & Operations, or Great Plains (GP) are preferred.
- Associates or bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a similar degree.
- Inquisitive, proactive, collaborative, and driven personality with a track record of meeting deadlines and utilizing strong organizational skills.
- Strong technical aptitude with an ability to quickly learn new business processes and systems.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to express ideas clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work well independently and in team environments.
- General business process experience in areas such as:
- Distribution (inventory management, order processing, procurement, etc)
- Service (work order management)
- Finance (GL, AP/AR, financial reporting, etc)
- Ability to query data with SQL. Integration experience and/or knowledge of Extract, Transformation and Load (ETL) tools is also desired.
- Experience with Power BI and Jet Reports or equivalent report authoring tools
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies (Synapse, LogicApps, Azure SQL, etc).
- Power Platform experience, including authoring of Power Automate workflows and PowerApps applications.
